Die cutting

Die cutting (also known as punching) is a post-press process (process made after printing), which consists in cutting out a sheet (or several sheets) of any raw material (it can be paper, cardboard, cardboard, plastic or other similar substrate) of the desired shape of the product, which is characterized by complicated, non-standard shape, impossible to obtain during ordinary cutting. Die-cutting is done using a die, which consists of a properly profiled knife, giving a specific shape to the final product. Using the same punch, you can also perform grooving, i.e. embossing lines of specific shapes in the substrate. Thanks to die cutting, we can give the products both appropriate external shapes and make any holes in them.
